Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for paid access to Jam Kham (จำคำ) courses: Read Thai and Speak Thai. Paid access is sold through the Reseller named at checkout (Paddle, or Link, an affiliate of Stripe), as defined in Section 9.2 of our Terms of Use. The Reseller acts as our merchant of record and is responsible for billing, payment, taxes, refunds, and chargebacks.

This policy supplements, and should be read together with, the Reseller Terms (Paddle's Buyer Terms and Paddle's Refund Policy, or the Sold Through Link Terms), as well as our Terms of Use (Section 9). The Reseller Terms govern the refund process for your purchase, and where they give you more than this policy does, the Reseller Terms apply.

2. Who You Purchase From

How your purchase is sold — and therefore how your refund is handled — depends on your location:

• Outside Thailand: our authorised reseller Tembusu Ventures LLC resells the course through the Reseller named at checkout (Paddle, or Link, an affiliate of Stripe), which sells it to you as merchant of record, and Twin Palms Advisors Co., Ltd. licenses it to you. Your purchase contract is with the Reseller. Refunds for these purchases are administered by it, as described below.
• Within Thailand: if you purchase directly from Twin Palms Advisors Co., Ltd. in Thai baht, Twin Palms is the seller and handles cancellations and refunds directly under applicable Thai law (the Reseller and Tembusu are not involved).

The merchant of record is the company that sells the course to you, charges your payment, collects any sales tax or VAT, issues your receipt and handles refunds. Outside Thailand, each purchase is sold by one Reseller only: either Paddle or Link. Which one sells your purchase is decided at the time of purchase, and it is named on the checkout page and on your receipt. The other Reseller has no role in that purchase. Section 8 explains how to request a refund from each one.

3. Our Refund Policy — 14-Day Refund Period

Unless required by applicable law, all transactions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, except as set out below.

14-day refund period. For purchases made outside Thailand through the Reseller, you may request a refund within 14 days of your transaction date. Requests are submitted to the Reseller and reviewed on a case-by-case basis under the Reseller Terms.

On a Monthly, Annual or six-month plan, the 14-day period runs from your first payment. We do not separately offer it on renewal payments, except where the Reseller Terms or the law of your country provide otherwise. To avoid a renewal charge, cancel before your renewal date (see Section 6).

Approved refunds are processed by the Reseller using the same payment method where possible, and within 14 days of approval. Once a refund is issued, your paid access to the course ends.

Outside the 14-day period, transactions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable unless a refund is required by applicable law or is granted by the Reseller under the Reseller Terms.

Direct purchases within Thailand: if you purchase directly from Twin Palms within Thailand (paying in Thai baht), the Reseller is not involved and the 14-day refund period above does not apply; Twin Palms handles cancellation, any statutory cooling-off rights, and refunds directly under applicable Thai law. To cancel or request a refund on such a purchase, contact us at support@jamkham.com.

4. Statutory Cooling-Off Rights

Country-specific rules may also apply. For example, consumers in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from some digital content and service contracts and receive a full refund. Which rules apply to you, and for how long, is set out in the Reseller Terms and determined by the law of your country; these rights are administered by the Reseller.

The Read Thai and Speak Thai courses are digital content that we make available immediately, so at checkout you ask us to supply them straight away. Any effect that has on a statutory withdrawal right is determined by the Reseller Terms and by the law of your country, and is not affected by anything in this policy.

5. Defective or Misdescribed Content

If you experience a technical or product defect, please contact us first at support@jamkham.com so we can try to resolve it. If we cannot resolve the issue, the Reseller may issue a refund.

6. Subscriptions and Cancellation

The Read Thai Monthly and Annual plans and the Speak Thai plan (billed every 6 months) are recurring subscriptions that renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through the Reseller's billing portal. For Paddle, that is Paddle's buyer portal at paddle.net (reachable from the receipt or management link Paddle emails you after purchase). For Link, use Cancel Subscription on your Subscription page, or the Manage billing link in your account, which opens the Stripe billing portal.

Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep access until then. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel before your renewal date. The 14-day refund period in Section 3 covers your first payment; beyond that, we do not separately refund partial or unused subscription periods except as applicable law or the Reseller Terms require.

7. Lifetime (One-Time) Purchases

The Read Thai Lifetime plan is a single, one-time payment. It is not a subscription and does not renew. The 14-day refund period in Section 3 runs from the date of that payment, and refunds are handled by the Reseller as described in Sections 3 and 4 above.

8. How to Request a Refund

Because the Reseller is the merchant of record, refund requests are handled by it. Request your refund from the company named on your receipt. If you email support@jamkham.com instead, we will point you to that company; we cannot refund the payment ourselves.

How to request a refund if Paddle sold your purchase

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Use the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in your Paddle transaction confirmation email, or go to Paddle's buyer portal at paddle.net and select the "Request refund" option. Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy apply. Paddle charges appear on your card statement as “PADDLE.NET*” followed by a shortened business name.

How to request a refund if Link sold your purchase

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Sold through Link, LLC (“Link”), an affiliate of Stripe. Link is the Merchant of Record for all orders it processes. Link provides customer service for those orders and handles refunds and returns through Link support.

Use the receipt Link emails you, or contact Link support on its purchase help page (support.link.com/topics/sold-through-link). The Sold Through Link Terms apply. Link charges appear on your card statement as “LINK.COM*” followed by a shortened business name.
